Re: The Shocker's Mix 61
I've got a book on spontaneous human combustion. From the book it states that it occurs more often with people who drink.

Re: The Shocker's Mix 61
Yes, I thought that blood alcohol would be a factor, but there are plenty of people who have been non-drinkers who also went up in smoke. One story was about some English guy who went up while he was driving. The peculiar conditions seem to be that the body burned, but surrounding areas are largely untouched, although there can be heat and smoke damage. Mary Reeser was the most famous one, and I already knew about her. But she was a drinker, too, so not so odd. I was surprised at the sheer number. But then I read about the concentration camps, and how they excavated and burned buried corpses, and it said that once you get a human body up to 1200 degrees F or so, it becomes self igniting and burns until it is consumed, which is what the Nazis did, due to shortages of gasoline. So that provided me with a decent explanation for both the drinkers, with their alcohol levels, and the non-drinkers, who just burned up really well. The human body is pretty combustible. Who'd a thunk it?!?!? |

Re: The Shocker's Mix 61
I don't recall ever seeing victim photos (either official or otherwise) from Air India Express 812... Another great post, Herman. Thank you. |
