Most people's medical training doesn't go past basic CPR, and not many people even know that much. If you don't have the proper training for such a situation, you could actually contribute to their death rather than save their life. On top of that, if you were to make the situation worse by doing the wrong thing and the person dies, you then open yourself up for a lawsuit from that person's family after they find out. Yeah, it happens more often than you'd think.

They could have provided some comfort. Hold their hand. Pray with them. Do SOMETHING as a fellow human being with a soul...if they have one.

They could do a multitude of things to help those people laying their, keep their heads stabilized for airway and just the comforting touch of one human showing compassion for another. Instead what looks like multiple people standing around with their camera phones talking among each other.

Stuff like this doesn't make me regret what it means to feel.

Yes how dare anyone go beyond the images and try to have an intelligent conversation about the human condition...Last I checked a forum exists for the sake of conversation. I'd have to say a series of posts with "thumbs up" and "good vid" would get quite old. If I just want images...Google can provide that. I come/lurk here because the insight presented is quite interesting at times...
