It appears not everyone is dead. No comfort, medical attention or anything, just people walking around with their goddamn cameras. God videos like this piss me off. How they hell can they stand to see another human being suffering and not offer any comfort is beyond me.

I see this response a lot on DR, but honestly...you need to keep your hands off of people in that condition until qualified medical personnel arrive o the scene. Most people's medical training doesn't go past basic CPR, and not many people even know that much. If you don't have the proper training for such a situation, you could actually contribute to their death rather than save their life. On top of that, if you were to make the situation worse by doing the wrong thing and the person dies, you then open yourself up for a lawsuit from that person's family after they find out. Yeah, it happens more often than you'd think.

Good Samaritan laws protect those who try to help in traumatic situation such as this. It is true as pointed out by other members that additional injuries and loss of life occur because of improper handling and care of patients that are in such traumatic conditions. Standard Treatment pretty much consist of: Basic treatment of life threatening injuries. Maintain airway with c-spine precautions Control major bleeding Treat for shock Transport As for the deceased its a fatal lesson that cannot be reversed and too bad it was at to cost of many others as well  |
