Pretty spot on shot to the heart for being in a struggle, doesn't appear to have been a contact wound... I wouldn't rule out the fuck shot him while he was on the standing and treyvon was on the ground

Been listening to the trial.Maybe it could have turned out differently if he did just let it go,but from the witnesses testimony,it sounds like trayvon was beating the crap out of zimmerman and it truly did turn into a self defense situation.
Does anyone else see another Rodney King uprising coming?

In my mind Zimmerman's guilt/innocence rests solely on if he tried to physically restrain Martin that night. If he grabbed him and tried to stop him - and an ass-whipping resulted whereupon he fired his weapon, he is guilty. If he merely verbally engaged Martin - who then initiated the assault on Zimmerman, he was within his rights to defend himself with deadly force.
I'm not sure how the prosecution and the defense will go about proving or disproving how the conflict escalated, especially with the man on trial being the only living witness of the incident.
Pretty much sums it up...... None of the witness's saw how it started.

Agree, but what happened leading up to Martin beating the shit out of him? Did Zimmerman try to restrain him?

At the beginning of the trial, the prosecutor said he was going to use Zimmy's own words (i believe the prosecutor said "lies") against him.

It hasn't been introduced at the trial yet, but there are videos that Zimmy had with the detective at the scene of the crime, the next day.

So far, almost nothing I heard at trial corroborates with what Zimmy said in that tape.

Stay tuned. I have a feeling Zimmy will have to testify if its introduced. Then it will get really interesting.
