Re: Trayvon Martin Crime Scene Photos
He was a "No limit *****" His own words. He was a street thug not the sweet little baby in the picture that was taken when he was 12. These are even way before he attacked and was shot. Where does a "kid" get all the money for tats and GOLD teeth, I work my ass of and I can't afford gold teeth.

Re: Trayvon Martin Crime Scene Photos
That pretty much sums it all up right there. I doubt anyone is painting Zimmerman up to be an angel, but neither is he the stone-cold killer that many seem keen to paint him as.

Re: Trayvon Martin Crime Scene Photos
Yes I know. Everything you stated I have already heard hundreds of times by the mass-produced tabloid media that always does a fine job sensationalizing stuff that serves no purpose other than to sway public opinion one way or the other. In this particular case, it is doing a phenomenal job at provoking old animosities between black and white folk that shamefully still exist today and will continue to do so unabated until people in this country can dispense with the politically correct rhetoric and actually have an open dialogue without being chastised as a racist or bigot. Look, I'm not condoning Zimmerman nor am I exemplifying him as a vigilante. I don't know the facts of the case but what I was trying convey was my doubt the media will take an honest and objective approach to this. I was also trying to emphasize that it doesn't matter what the "facts" of the case are, no juror will take the chance of becoming a public enemy for acquitting a white on black crime that already has national attention. All this being said, I'm sure there are forum members who are slapping this God forsaken label of bigotry on me because I dare question the status quo and suggest such outrageous claims. And for anyone who does so, go for it. But don't expect me to justify anything I said because I make no apologies for doing so. |

Re: Trayvon Martin Crime Scene Photos
There's a lot of things that don't add up. I never really thought it was racially motived, I thought ( and still do ) that its a case of an overzealous wannabe Cop overstepping his bounds and creating a situation where Trevon felt threatened. If I'm out at dusk, and someone starts following me in a car then gets out on foot and follows me guess what? I'm probably gonna turn around and ask what's up..... And if I really felt threatened I'm probably not going to phrase it quite that way. Zimmerman had no business approaching him, the 911 operator told him not to because it creates a situation like this where shit can happen. |

Re: Trayvon Martin Crime Scene Photos
I do agree with you to an extent. Zimmerman shouldn't have left his car to follow him, but at the same time I understand where Zimmerman was coming from. He was a neighborhood watch officer who was concerned because a large troubled teenager was walking around in the middle of the night in the rain (Come on that just screams suspicious activity all day! And any police officer in the area would have called that probable cause all day). However, this once again comes back to "No truely innocent person ever gets shot by the police(Or in this case police wanna-be's). It's pretty obviously Treyvon beat the shit out of Zimmerman, and if Zimmerman was overpowered as it appears, Lethal force is justified. And if Treyvon really felt that threatened, he should have either walked faster and get back to his house where he is safe...or idk...CALL THE FUCKING POLICE! You don't turn around and beat the shit out of someone just because they are following you. Now that being said I don't know if Zimmerman grabbed him, or tried to stop him, or what happened. So if Zimmerman started a physical confrontation, and its provable (Which it doesn't appear to be since the only damage Treyvon had was the bullet hole) then its third degree at best. But if he just followed him and the fight started, there isn't much he did wrong. Last I checked it isn't illegal to follow someone down a public sidewalk while in your neighborhood. |
