A classmate of mine was working at that restaurant and was supposed to go pick up her check or somesuch that morning, but she got up late and by then the jets had already hit...lucky girl - proves that sleeping in can save your life!

Re: A Collage of World Trade Center Jumpers
"Must be a strange feeling Now and then I get this wierd sensation of falling but jolt myself awake, just as im nodding off to sleep,Very creepy!!! Anyone else" That's a pretty common occurence....I read somewhere that it might be a holdover from when our ancestors slept in trees and had to keep balance throughout the night.... |

Re: A Collage of World Trade Center Jumpers
Yeah...the poor thing also ended up losing her apt., everything she owned and almost her cat, as her apt. was just a short distance from the towers, so it was in the quarentine area...she was able to sneak back to grab her cat thanks to a nice nypd officer, but had no place to go so had to come home and lost everything...but she's always been tough and driven, so it didn't stop her for long
