I think the prosecution would have to pull off nothing short of a miracle to recover from that cross-examination of their own witness yesterday. Stiger admitting that not only was it not excessive force, but in fact less force than MPD policy allows. That little nugget alone is likely to Chauvin acquitted. |

If anyone's interested here's a 'wrap up' post done by Legal Insurrection. There were so many damn bombs in this I can't see how the prosecution is going to recover... especially since we haven't even gone to defense witnesses yet.

I prefer objective views, not subjective. My answer would be the exact same if it were a liberal organization.

Stunned to see so much racism and hatred on this thread. George Floyd wasn't a saint, but so what? He didn't deserve to die for a suspected counterfeit bill. Chauvin is guilty of murder, and most Americans see this clearly according to polling data. There is no logical, sound, reasonable, or ethical way to defend Chauvin. Period.

Wasn't a saint? He has a long criminal record of domestic violence amongst other criminal activities. How do you think the woman he threatened to shoot in order to kill her unborn child feels every time she sees that cunt's face on TV? Chauvin didn't kill him either. He didn't even have his knee on his neck. He was following textbook procedure. Floyd died from a Fentanyl overdose. Sick and tired of violent, criminal cunts being made into fucking martyrs. |

In the new footage, you can clearly see Chauvin didn't even have his knee on Floyd's neck. Have any of you actually been watching the trial or been listening to the evidence? Particularly in the last couple of days? It's been devastating for the prosecution. |
