Re: Texting & Driving Dont Mix

This reflex breath of the woman laying torn on the road gave me some chills down my spine...
I havent seen alot of reflex breathing, but her entire head moved...... and it seemed more labored to me.... i thought she was alive (for the moment)
but 9/10 by the time I get to somebody they are either dead or just beginning the active stages of dying... Which of course is totally different than THIS

Medical help might have been useless in this case. At least one of those badly mangled, writhing bodies appeared to be taking their very last breaths. You generally have an instinctive feeling seeing bodies in that condition to not even bother trying to help but instead just hope they go quickly with not too much more suffering. Good video, btw.

Re: Texting & Driving Dont Mix

you can do more harm than help if you just start moving people in this condition. they all have massive internal injuries.

Re: Texting & Driving Dont Mix

I see this response a lot on DR, but honestly...you need to keep your hands off of people in that condition until qualified medical personnel arrive o the scene. Most people's medical training doesn't go past basic CPR, and not many people even know that much. If you don't have the proper training for such a situation, you could actually contribute to their death rather than save their life. On top of that, if you were to make the situation worse by doing the wrong thing and the person dies, you then open yourself up for a lawsuit from that person's family after they find out. Yeah, it happens more often than you'd think.
This.

Re: Texting & Driving Dont Mix

It would be good if in moments like that people forgot they had a camera.
If such were the case, sites like this wouldn't even exist.

A great deal of the images and videos posted here were taken by onlookers or passersby. You should be thanking them for taking the time to film and post these scenes of carnage.

If you're more concerned with cuddles and hugs than voyeurism of traumatic events, you may be on the wrong fucking website.

Perhaps you wish to try:

I agree with your point here but surely talking to someone and calming them cant cause any issues?
