Shame that whoever took this video stopped recording there. I doubt the broadcast got cut off that quickly, probably more footage. Word is he collapsed while trying to skate off the ice so probably fell down shortly after what we see here.

Legit question, are you blind? He clearly pushes the guy he "fails to check" out the way before kicking the other guy in the neck. It wasn't off balance. It was intentional. He has a history of similar violations.

I was just about to post the same thing. The guy has a temper on him, and I'm not sure how they do things in the British legal system, but that would at least get him a manslaughter charge in the US

It is amazing that outside of Sweden, neck guards haven't become a requirement/mandatory in professional hockey (Hell, even in the US it isn't a requirement at youth level, only recommended)

With a gusher like that it probably only took 30 seconds. Maybe less. I haven't gone back to the video to time when he got slashed until the video cuts out. I would be interested in how long it took for him to arrest, though. |
