So help me God, I cannot see that being intentional. Yeah, Pettgrave has a reputation for being a dirty player, and is the most penalized player in his league, but could these just be fire for the fuel to destroy him? He’s gotta live with that the rest if his life. His career is washed up. People under this kind of pressure are the ones who crack and off themselves. It’s already a major tragedy. I don’t know if there is anything to be gained by these charges.

Razor sharp skates within a foot of someones neck who's not on the ice, but is standing up playing the game have no purpose in the sport any more than a hockey player skating around with a base ball bat...... skates belong on the ice, not on someone neck. It may not have been intentional, and for that, we have manslaughter, which I believe is what he's charged with.

I realize that I am not the caller of what happened there. It looked like he bounced off the first guy and lost his balance. I also realize that hockey players are trained in falling, and lifting skates is taboo. I've been a hockey fan for a long time. This will haunt me for a long time.

Dude... You can literally see him look back and kick the opponent just after he defended another opponent. That was dirty. He intended to kick him and inadvertently slashed his neck.
