Ive seen this happen before many many years ago. The Need To Force A Rule for Helmet Attached Chin/Neck Guards to Prevent this. Kinda Like The Goalie Has.

This is the second insane injury Zednik suffered in his career too. He was also concussed badly by one of the most blatant elbows I've ever seen in all my life watching hockey. Search "Kyle McLaren Richard Zednik elbow"

Yet trying to pinch off or plug the jugular, they didn't think REMOVING your fucking gloves MIGHT be the first thing you should do? Now he's dead. This guy could have been saved.

This has happened before and the team doctor literally stuck his finger INSIDE the goalie's artery and plugged it. The goalie lived.
