Don't know why, but many of the comments in this thread make my fucking blood boil. I can find it perfectly understandable why many would find this dashcam video interesting; hell I do too. What I find unfathomable and inexcusable is the bullshit commentary, hailing the death of this young officer. Did he act foolishly or carelessly? Without a doubt and that is why we've seen this video more times than I care to remember during Officer Survival training. But the mean spirited and cowardly comments coming from what I'm sure is the "Internet Commando" crowd really infuriated me. If you don't like what I have to say here, just move along and shut the fuck up. I really don't give a rat's ass about your 'bad experiences' with cops. Not one of your experiences measures up to the taking of a young officer's life, especially when he was not responsible for whatever ill you were forced to suffer. Anything short of being buggered in a holding cell by the entire midnight watch doesn't justify the great majority of these comments anyway. So to you 'Cop Haters' out there: Well, I guess you can go  fuck yourself. Yes, that pretty much sums it up.

That cop should have kept his eyes on that guy. You dont just let someone go back to their car like that. He was pretty incompetent as a police officer if you ask me. If the person in question isnt co-operating, you MAKE him do what you said, especially if its endangering you and/or other people.

Well, thanks to liberal whiney assed pussy lawmakers, cops aren't allowed to do anything until they are sure their life is in danger. As in, getting shot at, having a gun pointed at them (which I think the guy didn't do until he actually started firing) or something similar. If the cop had done something to the guy before that, HE (the cop), the city, the state, etc. would've been sued.

People in the US are fed up with Big Brother stepping all over them. I have had how many bullshit tickets and been harassed by pussy cops how many times when I lived in the states? Too many! They get all up in your shit instead of giving you some room to breath. They provoke the issue instead of calming the issue. I am a combat veteran and I sure as shit don't need anyone thinking they are all the shit because they are packing a gun and a badge getting all up in my PTSD. haha This Vet had enough of it and well showed the cop what it is like to be under fire for your country. I don't like people screaming at me and don't respond well to it at all. Neither did this guy. Maybe a few more loud mouth cops get busted and they will learn how to talk to people from the start. Traffic ticket in the US $200 your insurance goes up $1,000 a year, don't have the money to pay? Oh shit well you will lose your license for not having insurance. What other option to go to work but to drive in rural USA? What now your driving without insurance? Shit boy we got to take you to jail! Now you lost your job because you went to jail. Fuck yea it is a wonder more cops don't get shot down. |

Agree with you, although I feel the officer should have been a little more vigilant, I guess it's hard to read those situations when they happen... This guy had a wife and kid, and his wife was pregnant at the time too, it's pretty sad  Also read up on this a little, seems the killer is still appealing, but is on death row apparently.. Hope he dies for this  |

Agreed, cops are just another gang of thugs. They abuse the laws, and haved abused me many a time because I distribute "know your rights" information. I hope this cop enjoys hell.
