Vietnam Vet or not doesn't give that dumbfuck the excuse to shoot that officer. Watching too many "John Jay Rambo" movies and taking matters into his own hands. A poor excuse of a Veteran. Im a retired Navy Corpsman (Combat Medic) and have seen numerous combat action with the Marines in Iraq. Many others have served this country and don't gripe about how shitty life is. We signed up and VOLUNTEERED. I do agree that the officer didn't use the proper escalation of force. The use non-lethal force such as pepper spray, baton, tazer before the the suspect had a chance to turn this into the officers demise. By not taking charge of the situation, the officer allowed the suspect to return to his car and retrieve the weapon. Weapon in hand = Getting Shot The officer could have used non-lethal force without getting himself killed. Very unfortunate and unnecessary tragedy. Poor family, widowed and fatherless.... |
