Re: Deputy Dinkheller Gunned Down by M1 Carbine rifle
Well, sadly enough for the officer, alot of county and town police officers have little to no training on these situations. it was quite obviously a suicide by cop, and when the officer refused to fire, he started firing at the cop. The proper response in this situtation is as soon as the gun is pointed at you, you shoot first. no questions asked. As they say, "Its better to be tried by twelve, then carried by six"

Well, even so, lack of training. Proper training will allow you to fire with out having to take careful aim. it becomes second nature. If he had been trained better, he wouldnt have missed and the guy shouldve never gotten off a shot to begin with. the second he touched that weapon, taser or pepperspray. and once the gun was out, you shoot. It's the continuum of force. As an officer, you should ALWAYS use one step ahead in force multiplication than your opponent.

Because you can dump and handful of sand and wet concrete down the barrel, pop in a magazine and empty the motherfucker without fail, that's why. And fuck that cop. Good riddance to bad humans. |
