Re: The Shocker's Mix 23
Having spent the better part of two days perusing these fascinating photos, I would like to thank you at the beginning of this thread. This is extremely well done, and I am impressed with the ones you colorized yourself. This looks to be the work of an academic, does that describe you? Thanks for taking all the time for posting, editing and captioning/commentary. Now I believe is the time you submit this as a publication for people in the areas of forensics/anatomy.a Bravo! |

Thank you. I actually create a magazine every month with random cases for my patreon members.

Re: The Shocker's Mix 23
Gun shot to the head suicides... Step 1: have gun Step 2: google basic brain regions for near guarantee instant ZZZzz (hint: brain stem) Step 3: now this is the hard part, unless you're already trained in the medical field... a radiographer like myself can simply visualise the precise angles needed to aim at target anatomy, only we use the skill to xray/scan... but it's handy if you want to do it right... so if you know a radiographer, casually ask them to show how theyd angle their xray beam to get an image of the base of skull. Or just google it. Step 4: practise lining up the gun in the correct trajectory. Hit that brainstem, baby. Don't be a noob and shove it in your mouth pointed upwards, or from under the chin, or from temple to temple. No. Or just hang yourself like I eventually will. Can't go wrong. |

Re: The Shocker's Mix 23
I've been away from DR for a while but I didn't expect to return to a bounty of brilliantly put together and detailed threads (that all give us medical nerds all the answers we need before asking) Thank you for your work and effort. |
