I have worked with dogs for almost 13 years now, and I have been a dog groomer working with dogs day in and day out for the last 3 years.....pit bulls are never a concern for me. They were never a concern in my teens as a bather. Never a concern working kennels at the vet. Nor was I worried about them as a vets assistant. The main breeds that I do worry about on a daily basis are
Australian Shepherds
Shih Tzus
Small poodle mixes
German Shepherds (cause they are dumb as fuck and the biggest fear biters)

The German Shepherd is one of the most popular and intelligent dog breed. They're known for excelling at most anything they're trained to do; guide and assistance work for the handicapped, police and military service, herding, search and rescue, drug detection, ect. Shepherds also make up less than 3% of dog bite fatalities in America annually.

Edit: I plan on purchasing a pup the near future, however, right now i'm just researching on the right breed to fit into my lifestyle and home.

I myself own 2 of these dogs recently myself Was Bitten while breaking up my dogs fighting ended up with a broken arm and they do stitches this was due to my actions and lack of knowledge or lack of doing the proper thing taking the proper steps and doing what needed to be done they're not the animal for everyone and when these young punks on these animals and think they're cool the status symbol they get hurt it's in their blood lines and inbreeding very awesome dog loving dog loyal very obedient very smart as long as you put the time in with the animal best dog one could wish for for all the haters out there when my time in hospital the number one dog bite that came in to the emergency room was a golden retriever number one Labrador number 2 Doberman Pinscher number 3 Pitbull number four
