Old Lady Mauled to Death by Her Own Dog
In Presidente Prudente on the afternoon of 5th August 2017, a woman was killed by her own dog. The 86 year old lady was mauled to death by her Rottweiler in the back garden of her home. The dog was taken by the 'Zoonoses Centre' + would remain there for 10 days for observation. Depending on the dog's behaviour, it would either be given to the relatives of the victim or adopted. A neighbour of the lady stated that he had been asked by her relatives to help contain the dog whilst he was attacking, but it was no good, no one was able to stop it. |

Re: Old Lady Mauled to Death by Her Own Dog
This isn't a case of the animal being antagonized and provoked into attacking. It mauled to death its elderly owner simply because she fell over. That dog should be put down not rehomed where it will just do the same as before given the first opportunity it gets. Next time it could be a child. Put a bullet in its head.

Well we can't be sure why the dog did it. Despite the woman's age, she would still be capable of, say, hitting the dog with a stick. If only people were 'put down' when they attack others. I'm not defending the dog though, I hate dogs with a passion. |

Re: Old Lady Mauled to Death by Her Own Dog
If someone wanted to assume the risk of owning and keeping a deadly dog, it's only appropriate that the owner should be the only one that is killed and eaten. And not necessarily in that order... |
