Wait, I'm going to have to study these photos a little closer... The wheelchair appears to be set up on some kind of table which leads me to suspect that he, indeed, was not paralyzed or handicapped. Just a theory! |

I agree that he must have had some help. I don't think he wasn't actually handicapped. The situation seems necessarily complicated if that's the case.
