Re: Collection of Funeral Selfies and Social Media Posts Mainly From the US
As much as these are in bad taste, I think more people should see photos like this so they can prepare themselves for the death of their loved ones.

Symptomatic of today's youth. All wanna be famous and harvest likes and thumbs up etc. These cunts are really something. I can honestly say that whenever I have health issues, somebody dies in my family that I never post on social media. Why would you? It's weird. |

Pretty much how I see it. We come to this site to look at exactly what they’re providing us, but then others go and get on a high horse like they were made to click on the thread.

Re: Collection of Funeral Selfies and Social Media Posts Mainly From the US
I wish I still had the photo of my dad in his casket. I took one of my neice standing beside his coffin (she was about 5 at the time) and it was very sweet and touching. She wasn't creeped out at all, which freaked out my idiot sister in law, but made me happy. There's no reason for people to be so flippantly disrespectful of, or as equally bad, freaked out by, death. |

Well, one could be charitable and interpret the comment as philosophical in tone rather than a simplistic remark about corpses.
