Re: LAPD Officers Fatally Shoot Suspect Armed With Machete
i'll bite..... You’ve taken a very simple scene – a lunatic with a sword trying to carve up strangers – and somehow managed to turn it into a freshman dorm manifesto about “servitude” and “society.” That’s not insight, that’s word salad with a victim complex. “Cops are taught to escalate, not deescalate.” No, they’re taught to stay alive in front of unpredictable, occasionally suicidal maniacs. There’s a difference. A guy waving a sword around in public isn’t a warm-up exercise for your political theory. He’s a walking liability bomb. You don’t fix that by delivering a TED Talk about social contracts out the patrol car window. And this “laws don’t protect people, they protect society” bit sounds deep until you think about it for more than five seconds. Society IS people. Not some secret VIP room where a handful of shadow-members sip champagne while the rest of us “exist in servitude.” That’s just you spray-painting big words over the fact you don’t understand how any of this actually works: training, policy, use-of-force, liability, all the boring machinery that kicks in when some clown decides it’s time to LARP as a video game boss in traffic. You claim cops “restore order however they deem necessary.” That’s flat-out false. There’s case law, internal review, body cams, lawsuits, prosecutors, IA, and about seventeen different ways to end your career and your freedom if you improvise your way through a scene like a cowboy. Are there bad cops? Absolutely. Bad shootings? Absolutely. But your grand theory that the whole machine is designed to escalate and crush “non-society people” isn’t a revelation, it’s just lazy cynicism dressed up as wisdom. You said “prove me wrong,” but you didn’t give an argument, you gave a vibe. You took a dangerous, specific event and replaced it with a cartoon where every cop is a state goon and every law is a slave collar. That might play well in the echo chamber, but out here in the real world with real blades, real blood, and real consequences, it just makes you sound like you watched too many conspiracy videos and called it research. I challenge you to think before you post... or to just THINK! you may consider yourself a genius because nobody challenges you, but the reality is that nobody gives a shit about you... accept me, and I am only your friend out of pity. |
