A fugitive suspect for alleged vehicle theft barricaded himself inside a house, but ended up falling from the ceiling directly into the hands of the SWAT team waiting below in Indian River County, Florida, United States.

The agents had tracked a stolen Ford F-350 truck to a house on Melrose Lane, where 36-year-old Keith Rodgers took refuge after fleeing inside.

He was believed to be hiding in the attic, but after several hours he fell through the ceiling and was immediately arrested by the SWAT team officers.

Rodgers was booked into the Indian River County Jail on multiple felony counts, including grand theft auto and resisting an officer without violence. He is being held on a $20,000 bond, according to jail records.
