When the war was over, veterans came back to the states calling anything that loaded rounds into a firearm a “clip.” This misnomer stuck, and many people now call a magazine a clip and vice-versa.


Use a word incorrectly often enough and by enough people that incorrect word becomye the correct word. usage dictates the meaning of words.

Sure. I'm 47. Not white. And dropped out school and got married at 13.
And, I've only gotten convicted once. And that was 30 years ago. So. Yeah. You are correct.
but in this country people have a right to a trial and in that trial you're guilt is determined by A reasonable doubt.
When you're on shock probation you can face jail time simply for the preponderance of the evidence.
which means you don't have to be guilty to have your probation revoked it just has to look real bad for you.
For example my shock probation was revoked because of alleged firing of a weapon.
A weapon that was not located.
A bullet hole that was not located.
And gunshot residue was not tested on my hands.
in fact the police didn't actually have a reason to enter my house.
And they didn't have a reason to arrest me.
Jump forward to my day in court.
I walked away without a weapons charge but was convicted of a crime I was on probation for.
Again there was absolutely no proof of the crime that got me arrested but it did get me convicted of a completely separate crime which I was on probation for.


I'm not making excuses or anything.
But shock probation is difficult to maintain I stayed out of trouble for 11 months out of 12 months.
It will be impressive if this young lady can stay out of trouble for 10 years versus the 12 months that I couldn't finish.

I have no need to make excuse about anything. I got convicted of a crime I did. 30 years ago. Only reason I even bring it up is to explain what shock probation is. I didn't actually do anything and I lost my shock probation.
Literally. No gun was found. No gun hole was found.

You and I have much in common from what I understand from reading your posts and I consider you a brother of mine. The citation he would use in this case would be the Bell Curve Study. Although no one really wants to talk about it. Many on the left talk about the problems with the study. What they won’t talk about is it was done by three left wing colleges and there was a time they sung it’s praises. The study is sound from a scientific perspective and shows that Asians on average are the most intelligent people on earth followed by whites where as the Latino and Blacks have the lowest IQs. His use of the word Naggers was uncalled for and turned people off to the fact that he was correct in his use of "average"
