Actually. No. She is on shock probation. For the rest of the sentence. I was on SP. For a year. Made it to 11 months. Got in trouble. And didn't even have for that matter. They just revoked my shock probation and I had to do the rest of the year which ended up only being a few weeks because at the time I was getting 40 days for every day. Hopefully this lady can stay out of trouble for that long it's going to be an accomplishment.

I wouldnt lose any sleep if she got sent back for a couple years. 6 months in jail, $50k restitution, and 10,000 hrs of community service doesnt feel like justice to me considering how she irreversibly changed the man's quality of life and basically got lucky she didnt kill him.

The court will look at intent here. You can obviously see by the video she didn't intend to kill, or even harm. She was just playing around, being foolish. She will get an involuntary manslaughter here, and if she has a real good lawyer and she has no criminal record they may reduce the charge further. The fact that she is attending college or has attended will be a big plus for her and if she has a job that will be the icing on the cake. I'll bet, given those circumstances, she will do no more that a year in county jail.
