Your understanding of biology and evolution is pretty uninformed and uneducated.

If you've ever seen particular breeds of dogs or cats, or if you've ever heard a person say that a child has their parents' eyes/nose/smile/etc., then you've essentially seen evolution and biodiversity in action. It has absolutely nothing to do with any magical sky-rocks.

Certain environments favor certain traits, and the species' that we see today are the offspring of members of those species who possess those traits. Those that did not have favored traits (such as short-necked giraffes, for example) died out a long time ago, leaving only those whose traits were so conducive to survival and reproduction that they became inherent to and typical of the species in question over the course of several generations.
