He made a typo. What he meant to say was "Charge her with involuntary man's laughter," because so many people who saw the video didn't mean to laugh but just couldn't help it.  |

So this guy is allegedly not merely physically responsive when not sedated, but has ostensibly spoken words and has started some sort of physical therapy. It just doesn't seem possible to me. Granted, our brains can do some amazing things to adapt to damage, but after watching the video I just can't believe it. There is just no way he is not a carrot.

Yeah just watch the moments after he takes the bullet. Look how much blood comes pouring out. That's some major arterial damage right there, not to mention the overall kinetic trauma caused by the projectile and bone fragments being injected into his gray matter. The complete loss of cranial pressure, the blood loss, etc... a good chunk of the guy's brain is not coming back. I've seen some of the press quotes of hearsay coming from the family. I do NOT believe it. He didn't take a grazing blow across the top of the skull. That bullet went in right above the ear. His entire left temporal lobe would be turned to mush, at a minimum. Video or it didn't happen. |
