Re: Using His Rights in the Face of the Law
yes of course, however i like to argue that the founding of the U.S. was created thru blood and sacrifice. I have two family members that were kept as POW's as an example. The fight against terrorists is of course a unique and unfortunate dilemma. However to give up the freedoms is losing the very fight they have begun. There are things worth fighting for and dying to keep what we have already won. |

Re: Using His Rights in the Face of the Law
Well I hate to burst your ideological little bubble but the world isn't all roses and kittens, there are people that would like to see the West burn. So if taking 30 seconds out of your hectic life just to say "Yes I am an American citizen!", or answering a few more reasonable questions is too much for you then you deserve what possibly could befall you. I personally don't see the problem. |

Re: Using His Rights in the Face of the Law
ur not bursting a bubble at all and in fact i too would answer the fuckin question as well..... but thats not the point of the videos. altho u failed, I do realize were not tryin' to burst my bubble. I however have to burst ur bubble, sir.... lets take the question... 1. cop can ask anything he wants to ask. 2. do u expect a terriorst to admit or give admissions that would risk his intentions to be uncovered. 3. The cop wants to find reasonable evidence to start an investigation. the point of the video, in my mind, is only to show the problem cops have with an american citizen exercising the rights giving to any citizen. i support and want to help officers anyway i can, however to start investigating a person for using the exact rights he is asked to protect is a problem..... a big problem I may very well have ideological views and i may live in a little bubble but that has nothing to do with the point were discussing. |

Re: Using His Rights in the Face of the Law
So what is the point, to show that some people are arseholes? I am sure we both know that they are. Or are you going to say it's about rights? Well I have the right to shoot a Scotsman in York with a bow and arrow except on Sundays (true story), it doesn't mean I will or should just because I can. |
