Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread VI
That sounds very Tom and Jerry. Lol I was recently told that animals dying are still a no no but you could message KH or Hunted to ask. If they say it’s ok, post it with a warning. I will probably whine about it but I’ll whine to myself.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread VI
We know & we also know that you're a staunch pro russian, happily posting your pro russia shit, but what gets me is, your happy that russia is committing acts of genocide against your own ppl, shelling civilian houses, towns, schools, hospitals, malls, train stations, kidnapping your children, destroying your landmarks, history, culture & everything else Ukrainian, steeling your land & erasing everything Ukrainian from the pages of history & here you are happily supporting russia with that shit when your Ukrainian yourself, WOW, your some kind of traitor to your people & family. So, by your own word, you are a pro nazi because you support the russians in this totally unnecessary invasion / war / smo that has killed thousands of innocent civilians. Your delusional ! |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread VI
I'm gonna let this conversation die, since its kind of pointless. You don't really get what im saying. Russia celebrates its war generals years later. It celebrates Stalin and Lenin. Why not clean their reputation before others? Again, you start saying "well, that was different, Russia was fighting for itself" ... and no. It wasnt. Russia was doing more than 1 thing at a time. And that was my entire point. Yes, Russia was fighting for itself in self-defence...BUT it also fought against other independent countries, like Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania etc. You do understand that from the point of view of those countries, Russians were terrorists, invaders, and criminals. Am I correct when I say that by celebrating Russian war generals and putting flowers on Stalin's statue, Russians are celebrating mass deportations, executions, and all the murders committed in their gulags? Are they celebrating the execution of all the political opposition in their own country and all the neighboring countries, who wanted to be independent? I have a hunch that you have no problem in saying that "Well, yeah, Russians did invade innocent countries and killed tons of civilians, and occupied its neighbors for half a century, but we don't celebrate that...we celebrate the part of the war in which we defended ourselves. How can you not understand that this is what the other side is doing as well? Yes, there were local soldiers who fought on the German side, but that's not the part that is being honored and celebrated. What is being celebrated is the part where they fought for their own country. If Ukrainians do praise their past for the aspects of "killing Jews and civilians" then sure, I agree. Thats a shitty thing to do. But I have a hunch that they don't. If the "nazis" took power in 2014, then surely there are lots of rallies, political speeches and so on, calling for the deaths of Jews and praising the killing of Jews in the past. Here, I'd also mention that Ukraine wants to join EU and NATO. That was the whole point of Maidan revolution. Now, joining EU and NATO would be the last thing nazist would do. EU represents everything that nazis hate. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread VI
I don’t remember Russians walking around their capitol with the photos of Stalin, Lenin, Zhukov, Rokossovskij or whoever and celebrating their Birthdays, like Ukrainians were doing with Bandera for example. I don’t remember them putting flowers to Stalin or Lenin ( maybe during Soviet Union, but Russian time, esp my generation, or the newer gens, pfff you kidding? All my Russian friends want that Lenin out of red square and be done with it). Also I don’t remember them celebrating occupation of Estonia, or any other occupation tbh. It’s like you drew this picture in you had that keeps you blind, idk. In the end of the day, former Soviet republics got their independence, how Elcin said “get as much freedom as you want” right? During my childhood, I thought that USSR was one big family, I’ve never met Estonians back than, maybe I wound found out earlier that all of you were occupied and slaughtered and what not. In my everyday life i dealt with Ukrainians, Russians, Krimean Tatars, Uzbeks and Kazakhs. And never have I heard about how Russias treat them like animals, kill them and so on, or occupation. I’m trying to say that we have never celebrated any occupation, but victory over Germany and those who fallen fighting them and in my childhood circle we were happy to be together and didn’t hate each other. Soviets killed not only foreign civilians, but own people too, I don’t have a problem acknowledge it, but I chose to favor good over bad. Like I said ones, people still loving church and it’s not getting proper treatment for all the death and executions it brought to this world. I have a choice and my choice is to not recognize UPA and SS scum as a heroes. New Ukrainian officials chose IMO very bad path for its History. I think probably only, Baltic states support them, well because you support you own SS vets ( wonder if you Soviet Army vets get the same attention, they also didn’t have choice right? And also fought for their country?). Jews, Russia, Israel, Canada ( as we saw recently) and even Germany are disgusted by the fact that Ukraine phrasing the most notorious killers out there. Did you watch DW radio interview of Ukrainian representative of foreign affairs, they asked him why he put flowers onto Bandera grave and reply was - he’s our hero bla bla bla…. DW guy told him that when German army got Lvov, there were kind of postcard laying around the city, signed by Bandera and calling Uranians to kill Rus, Jews and Polaks ( I think 3 nationalities he said)….Ukrainian diplomat didn’t like the question. And guess what happened, Zelenskyy had to take him from his position, because he saw the worlds reaction ( well Baltic states probably were not happy ofc). Anyway, we talk about this with you on and off for two years now man |
