Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread VI

I thought this was a badass story

Before the Azovstal defenders, there were the Cyborgs.

In 2014-2015, the 79th Air Assault Brigade and other valiant units fought against the russian army in the Second Battle of Donetsk.

Despite being surrounded and outgunned, Ukrainian soldiers, including the the 79th, gave the russians the hardest fight of the war. They refused to surrender and defended the airport for months. The 79th fought so hard, the russian defenders did not think they were human.

Over the radio, it was overheard that the russians called them "Cyborgs". Hence from that day forward, the 79th and many brave units (DUK, the 74th, 93rd, 57th and 95th and others) were known as the Cyborgs.

YouTube has permanently banned the channel, The Dive with Jackson Hinkle (300K subscribers) for alleged “Ukraine misinformation.”

He's an American pro-Putin apologist. I believe he just came back from Russia, he's a traitor.
