Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III
He didn't "chickened out". What you were referring to was "Battle of Drvar". Partisans got ambushed by Germans and they somehow broken the encirclement. Calling Tito a chicken is most uneducated thing I heard in past few years. I guess you would be able to make an army out of nothing and fight against major powers for 4 years (Yugoslavia tied numerous German and Italian divisions to itself during the WW2). This is just not another Rambo movie man, it's the reality. It's so sad that you are commenting on this stuff from cozy chair. Here's what Himmler had to say abut him: |

That's great man, happy for you. You have your own country, your own cattle and let other nations decide what's best for them. At least do it in the name of 105 wars that were waged on behalf of USA outside it's borders and for half of million children that died in those wars. If you are satisfied then there's no need to always be at war. Since 1776, the U.S. has been at peace for just one out of every 20 years. No wonder people go nuts after constant wars. Even the crazy Slavs had more peace time then USA. |

Nope, I haven't been following. Just returned to this site after a very long hiatus (several years). So pardon the interruption, but such is common for online boards. ;) Good to know there are people in the forum who understand the difference between nationalism vs racism and it not being a "white only" issue. |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III
Ehm, nope. Unless you have lived in that time and somehow made more money, I doubt it was better living under that system. This is the info I found for the wages of Serbia over the years. ![]() ![]() The trend since the collapse of Yugoslavia is clearly upwards, just like in other ex-soviet countries. The wages before the independence are consistent with the wages in my country at the same time. If you remove the "youth bias", you will see that most people can afford an order of magnitude more now, than they could before. If you want to live an easy life, like you did before...then stop consuming as much and downgrade your life to the past life. Give up the use of most electronics, internet, subscriptions, cars, eating out in restaurants, pubs etc etc. Modern-day people consume a lot more than the soviet person did back then. Also, Average Serbian is better off than the average Russian(ignoring subsidized cities like Moscow). |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III
You see that's the problem with people who look at some charts, made up by someone, while I personally know people who lived in that system and what they did. My father would work for three months in same branch as me and he had enough money to buy himself Ford Capri. Brand new. And it was 80's. So it was "the car". I can freely say that I'm more educated then him - and I'm making ends meet. I drive 20 year old Audi A6 2.8 xD All the housing we have is mostly built around what Old Man Tito made trough projects. Western "techno-managers" don't have enough dignity to even put new paint in rooms that are used for public services For example this chart is faulty as our "medial" salary. They say our "medial" salary is around 1500 euros but in fact it's around 900 euros. Why? Well because they put workers (which are majority) and few techno-managers, CEO's, seat-dwellers and other good-for-nothing people who have big salaries but they do not make any VALUE. So in the end you have someone who does nothing, has salary around 10.000 euros and you mix it up with a worker who actually does something and you just divide 900 and 10.00 into smaller pieces and voila - 1500 is "medial" salary. It's rather sad to be honest. I work my ass off and still everything of value (of true value like apartments and house) is from Tito's time. Which is not that uncommon as Yugoslavia was a country that had some influence in world's economy and politics. You think Croatia has any leverage on anyone? Yugoslavia led the unaligned movement we got benefits from Middle east and Africa (that made west very angry and envious). But why even bother, you will again pull up some paperwork that some seat-dweller with big glasses wrote up and that's it. You know how people lived and I don't know. You know how you actually see which system was better? You ask people. I doubt you know Croatian/Yugoslav language but I found one of many with English translation: It's not only about money either. Pedophilia and rape was non existent, thief's and murderess actually went to camps and worked their asses off (now we pay for their food and shelter in prisons) at Goli Otok, you didn't need to pay for colleague, our doctors were one of best in Europe and free, sports were at their prime (that's why we excel at sports right now because a lot was invested into sports in Yugoslavia). Lawyers were cheap as fuck. Now people don't want to go to court even if they know they will win because in the end it will cost more to pay the damn thing Anyways, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia etc. it's all "coincidental" states in service of others. I can rest assured we got our lecture and if there will be any other chance to rebuild this union I doubt we will listen to some motherfuckers telling us we need to kill each other because of nationality and religion so they could come here and buy cheap labor and housing. btw. we are little mouse compared to Russia right now. How to even compare country with 3,8 million people against Russia?? I'm 32 years old. No "youth bias". We know we are fucked. We know that we are irrelevant factor. One of you guys said we are expandable. That was harsh truth. |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III
An Update: ![]() https://www.reuters.com/world/europe...il-2023-03-28/ March 28 (Reuters) - A Russian who was investigated by police after his daughter drew an anti-war picture at school was sentenced on Tuesday to two years in a penal colony on charges of discrediting the armed forces. But the whereabouts of the convicted man, Alexei Moskalyov, were unclear. The court said in an official posting on VKontakte, similar to Facebook, that he had fled from house arrest. Moskalyov has been separated from his 13-year-old daughter Masha since he was placed under house arrest at the start of this month and she was moved to a children's home in their hometown of Yefremov, south of Moscow. The case has provoked an outcry among Russian human rights activists and sparked an online campaign to reunite father and daughter. Moskalyov's lawyer Vladimir Biliyenko said he had not seen his client since Monday and did not know whether Moskalyov had fled, as he had only the spokesperson's statement to go by. "At the moment, to be honest, I'm in a state of shock," he told Reuters. He said the defence would appeal against the verdict and Masha would remain in the children's home for the time being. Moskalyov was convicted over comments he himself had posted online about the war in Ukraine. But the investigation started after Masha, then 12, drew a picture last April showing Russian missiles raining down on a Ukrainian mother and child, prompting the head of her school to call the police. The drawing featured a Ukrainian flag with the words "Glory to Ukraine" and a Russian tricolour with the slogan "No to war". Police began examining Moskalyov's social media activity and he was initially fined 35,000 roubles ($460) for comments critical of the Russian army. In December, investigators opened another case against him on suspicion of discrediting the armed forces, this time based on a social media post in June. The banned Russian human rights group Memorial said it considered Moskalyov to be a political prisoner. Biliyenko visited Masha on Tuesday in the children's home, officially named "Social Rehabilitation Centre For Minors Number 5", and came away with drawings she had made for her father. He was also allowed to photograph a letter she had written him that read "Dad, you are my hero". Shortly after invading Ukraine last year, Russia outlawed the act of discrediting the armed forces and provided for jail sentences of several years. ($1 = 76.5500 roubles) |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III
You should stop implying that I am interested in you in this way because I'm slightly more cordial to you than most in here and have tits. It's small minded, sexist behavior that says more about you than anything. Again, expected behavior of a teenaged boy. I hope you don't do this in real life at your age.
