Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III
Truly disgusting. The Kremlin knows this is a disaster and needs to attack everyone who offers even a drop of resistance. Not sure if you remember this, but a long time ago before he disappeared from DR, duntez the pro Russian from Crimea was trying to say Russia's freedom of speech was as good as the US or EU... a statement so comically false I didn't even know how to respond. How can anyone say that with a straight face. And he actually believed that. Sad

"It was clear from about day 10 that it's not a special military operation but a real war, says a Russian propagandist, while speaking highly of the Ukrainian Army."

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III
Even this 900 euros is many times more than what people earned before independence. Like I said, life in Yugoslavia wasn't significantly better or worse than life in USSR in general. There is a huge youth bias when comparing life before the independence vs life after. I'm from an ex-USSR country myself...also your aged. I can see how my father describes the USSR and says "it was the good old times", but then, once you actually talk to him and ask for details....he not so surprisingly reveals that life was shit back then. We lived from payday to payday....stores were empty and you ate the same stuff day in, day out. Medicine was free but fairly shit quality in terms of tech/drugs. Now, medicine is still free...and much better quality. During the USSR days, my father earned the average salary, and it was no problem for him to spend his entire salary eating and drinking with buddies for 1 day. When I said that people have "youth bias", I didn't mean you. You weren't alive during the Yugoslav years. I mean the older people who were. It's scientifically proven that people remember their youth much better than it actually was...because that's when they were healthy, had no problems. And what happened in countries that didn't had Old Man Tito? Are the people in those countries homeless...living in mud huts? No. There are houses there too. This is most likely bullshit as well. Murder/rape/theft was more common in the USSR times than it is now. The difference is, that back then, people got away with a lot more. Now, there are cameras everywhere. Detective work is much better and most murder/rape cases hit the news. We are just more aware of crime now than before. And...who do they serve? Which countries and how? Also, Serbia and other Yugoslav countries may join the EU some time in the future. But...i have a hunch that you are not happy about it. You want your old union right?...not the new, much better and more powerful one. Yes, and you were a little mouse before as well. And Russia is a little mouse compared to China. So what? People don't talk about russia because they think they are better than Russia. People talk about Russia because Russia started a war, and is pushing its agenda into its neighboring countries...who are independent and don't want that influence. |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III
Two were shot. Almost all security forces' equipment was brought to the scene. Is Kadyrov shocked that they rebelled against his regime?" AND (posted with the last video) "In Chechnya, there was a shooting between "veterans" of the "Akhmat" regiment and local security forces in Gudermes. Tiktokers were killed and publicly brought to Kadyrov's feet. Now propaganda will quickly come up with a story about saboteurs, and of course about the Ukrainian trail."

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III
What can I say except that I knew you will make circles about this in your own way, even though you are not in Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, you don't respect what people want. It's important what people who live here want not what someone from outside wants. 900 euros, yeah, that's why my dad lived days of his life and I can't. You forgot, maybe on purpose that prices are waaaay higher then Yugoslavia. I won't even comment on the other things, as I already commented on them even before you started to comment on my post. It's never ending game where we are told we are doing good even though we have incredible unemployment rates, people live day to day and all that good stuff. And yeah, to answer obvious question with an obvious answer you all from USA already know: we are controlled by EU and EU is controlled by USA. Like it's something new. And again with USSR ... I'm strictly talking about Yugoslavia. Which is way different then USSR. But if I need to prove this to you then it means you have little or no knowledge about SFRJ. Look, if everything is so good and dandy here come and let's live. Let's live that great life you are talking about. Put your money where your mouth is. Of course you won't only visitation you will do is either to steal resources (not personally but your government) or to have vacation. In end it's all Putin's fault!! That booostard. Commie. He's probably a Serb |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III
btw. "Yugoslavia was the fastest growing socialist economy in the post-WWII era (Sapir, 1980). In fact, it was one of the fastest growing countries in Europe during the 1950s and the 1960s (Balassa and Bertrand, 1970). Socialism is mostly associated with central planning." Yugoslavia on it's lowest point (1991): $120.1 billion GDP. Croatia on it's highest point (aka now, as you said we are way richer now): $71.490 billion GDP. Also these numbers means nothing if you don't spread them equally. Yugoslavia was way more equal when it comes to spreading wealth. I gave you few examples, they get ignored. As always in cancel culture - just ignore what does not suit you. Fuck I'm starting to sound like anglo-saxon :D We will never ever have opportunities like our parents did. Never. Until we take this land into our own hands. |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III
More then 230 thousands Croatian households are facing "enforcement" aka they will get kicked out of their houses. Thanks to ruling pro-western HDZ (Croatian Democratic Unity hahah) which boasts themselves with "Christian" values. For your information in Yugoslavia only thing that could "enforce" you out of your basic rights like place to live and electricity was foreign invasion. It's not that these people are not willing to pay, they just cannot get a job because jobs are reserved for the members of the party. But then again we are in Schengen zone, Europe needs more garbage men/woman to clean the streets now when France is full of garbage. https://www.index.hr/vijesti/clanak/...ti_najnovije_d |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III
These eastern trolls should be teleported back pre-1989 just to expierience life in all these communist "worker paradises". Man, there was a reason why the whole Eastern Bloc collapsed in the exact moment the iron grip of the old Soviet Union weakend end of 1989. This applies especially for Yugoslavia. If everything would have been so great, it wouldn't have collapsed. |
