The real article https://www.lrb.co.uk/the-paper/v38/...ry-to-military was actually pretty good; In the official version of the events, after they killed Osama the seals were chilling outside of the compound waiting for a bus to pick them up (they crashed one of the black hawks inside the compound lol) with Obamas body and garbage bag full of video tapes which would be initially heralded as groundbreaking information but this was never mentioned anywhere ever again.. Still, the movie version was pretty good  , loved the Irish actress especially

The problem with these "anonymous" sources is that there is no way to verify any of it. Even worse...these anonymous sources/information drops may easily be from the agents of the enemy. I.e what would stop the Russian secret service from contacting him and telling him that it was all CIA and Americans? The same goes for any information leak. How has that guy confirmed any of his info. Anyways...it is what it is. Can't confirm it, can't deny it. Perhaps we will see in 50 years, once this shit gets declassified. |
