I feel like one or both of them hit her and caused some brain trauma....that created her not being all there. No parent would let their child exist like that. No loving parent.....now, abusive ones....

Asperger's / autism is present from birth, if you have it, as I do. It does not develop later. It may take someone a while to notice that their child is a little different while they are growing up- either accelerated in some aspects or possibly behind in some others. It does not happen suddenly, it is not caused by any vaccine, there are no medications or special diet that will treat or improve it and it is not a disease that needs to be cured and we are not puzzles that need to be solved. Lacey's parents, however, are profoundly mentally ill judging by this extremely long period of neglect. You did not deserve this, Lacey. I am so sorry you were tortured like this. |
