Re: NewCal Aviation de Havilland Canada DHC-4 Caribou Crashes in Test Flight
"With the exception of a slightly higher-than-normal nose attitude at lift-off, the aircraft's initial climb appeared normal. "Slightly-higher-than-normal nose attitude at lift-off" can easily lead to catastrophic kiting and exactly what we see that happened in the video. |

Re: NewCal Aviation de Havilland Canada DHC-4 Caribou Crashes in Test Flight
That's exactly what happen. The pilot failed to check this off his list before take off and as a result, didn't have control of the aircraft and came crashing down. Again, fucking pilot error with fatal results. It's like being in the back seat of a car with the driver attempting to overtake a semi 18 wheeler but fails to check for oncoming traffic. Bam! Head on collision killing all passengers. That would keep me from ever driving or riding in the back seat of a friends car. Just saying.... |

He was swinging back to the airport real quick to get his cell phone , and no , a human can't survive diving into the ground and 100 mph and bursting into flames and burning for 20 minutes

I thought it might be the load in the plane wasn't strapped in tight and it shifted as the plane got airborne.
