I thought it might be the load in the plane wasn't strapped in tight and it shifted as the plane got airborne.
That's a valid point, or al least the only understandable for humanitarian

Wrong. Most likely mechanical failure of some sort. If it was suicide, they'd have flown to a building and taken some poor office droid with them.

No, this is mechanical failure (connectors, cables, etc) from the control column to the elevators.

TSB concluded that the control gust lock system had not been fully disengaged prior to flight and that one or more of the locking pins had become re-engaged after lift-off.
