The jets that hit the WTC were in service since the 70's......... The WTC is also the first recorded case of fire melting the steel to my knowledge.

Excellent response. My experience of working with people who advocate government conspiracies is that most of them have some kind of beef to pick with Uncle Sam. The worst part is they refuse to take heed to any type of reasoning that points the finger at perps who have no involvement with the U. S. government. Their rationale is it has to be some high-level intelligence link to the crime. If that is the case with 9-1-1, why don't some of these conspiracy goons go an try to make a citizen's arrest of George W. Bush. I'd like to see the news clips of the Secret Service hauling their bruised, tazed asses off to lockup.

I completely agree with what you said.

I would say that there has been instances in the past though where the Government has lied or even attacked its own people in order to justify going to war.
Far as I'm concerned the whole thing is pretty much cut & dried, BUT....... It has also been shown that the Bush Administration had key members who had signed intent on invading Iraq, prior to any attack.
9/11 did actually benefit the agenda's of certain people besides the terrorists, something to think about.

At the risk of being called a fuckwad again I would point out that the truth of a thing is found not by denouncing what you disagree with but by a reasoned assessment of the available information at hand. It's easy to poo poo any information that tends to support the fact that terrorists flew a hijacked AA Jet in to the Pentagon especially if you are separated geographically. I've lived within 10 miles of the Pentagon since 1967. I ride the commuter bus to it, ride the metro rail under it, have friends that work at it and know people that died in it. I know the neighborhoods around it, the highways next to it and have friends that live near it in Arlington. I watch the local news, I read the local paper the Washington Post, I talk to people that live and work here.

Do you really think for one second because I didn't see a video of an American Airlines jet flying across the parking lot of the Pentagon that I think that there is a conspiracy? Do you really think that you know more than I do because you live somewhere far away and look up shit on the internet?
