it's more of a mobile artillery unit than a tank, but is still a damn impressive machine.

Re: For the Love of Tanks.

zomg Love tanks!

Love the integration of sloped armor in updated WWII tanks!

Utley, that's a Challenger (Safe as fuck for the crew)
and a T-80?
Looks like someone beat me to it!!

Those T-34's really gave the germans something to worry about. The Mk5 Panther was thought to have been germany's attempt at copying and improving the T-34.

Re: For the Love of Tanks.

Smart arse, now i have to find my MBT recognition guide. I know it's a T-80, i can see some reactive armour on it but i don't know if the reactive armour package was sold on their export model.

Re: For the Love of Tanks.

Main difference is the engine. The T-80u has a gas turbine while the T-80ud has a diesel. If this was exported to the Ukraine then it is called the T-84.

All you have to look for is what model uses smoke mortars.

Re: For the Love of Tanks.

There's just 1 picture. The description says the main difference is the engine. As an afterthought ERA can be applied post delivery so isn't a good way of idenitfying which model it is. I found a site with that picture used for the T-80ud which is the export model.
