Kinda of eerie but pretty cool how advanced science was in the early 1940's. There's also a longer video of this where it shows it not just the dogs head that is alive It's also his heart and lungs. |

this scientist did some wonderful experiments with animals early in the 20th century, and this dog experiment actually happened. IIRC the dog lived for 2 days before the scientist pulled the plug and got tired of the dog drool. He practiced on monkeys mostly. He was rather successful at it too. This same guy also sewed the heads on different animals to see if it was possible to join heads on a host to try to save the patient as a last resort. It worked until the body rejected the appendage.
