Re: Video From Patrick Crusius & The El Paso Walmart Shooting
So I've been thinking about purchasing one of those AR-15 "assault rifles", but, the problem is, my state just passed some bullshit law requiring that I take some classes on gun safety and that I must be at least 21 years of age to make a purchase. Oh, I also have to go through some stupid background check, but I'm afraid I might not pass it because I have a felony on my record. So, I say, fuck it! I'll just hop on my iPhone and purchase something called an '80% lower', and, with a little but of elbow grease, I'll make it an '100% lower'. And after a few more purchases, such as a stock, trigger, barrel, magazine(s), etc. - all of which can be purchased from the safety of my iPhone and shipped straight to my door - I'll have all the pieces I need to truly 'Make America Great Again'. I'll snap all them pieces together like LEGOs, and then, Bam!, I'll have my very own *unregistered* AR-15 "soft target killer" - I mean... "assault rifle"... Gun show loophole? I don't need no fucking loophole!!! Background checks? I spit on your background checks!!! |

It's not an inanimate object, it's a tool used designed to cause harm. Sure, there is target shooting now I'll give you that but that was not the goal. You're trying to downplay and pretend like people don't misuse the "object" everyday and regulations need to be more strict. |

Re: Video From Patrick Crusius & The El Paso Walmart Shooting
Does it really matter? I mean, lets say you are correct, and non-whites commit "more" murders than whites..... or let's say you are incorrect, and it's actually right-wing Republicans committing most of the murders...… That doesn't really help us in any way. If everyone is going to categorize a killer in to a specific group, and then blame the ENTIRE group of people, it's pointless. Whatever you do....DO NOT blame the corporations that own you. No no no! Blame the poor immigrants, the whites, that Hispanics, the Repubtards, the Libtards, the whatevertards. FACT: America is a shithole country. It's been a shithole country for decades. Conservatives hate everyone, including their fellow conservatives. But they love corporations fucking them in the asshole. No need for lube. The entire "Thou shall murder thy neighbour's ass if he sticks his nose in my business" attitude is what the real problem in America is. This attitude was crafted by corporations and they own and direct the narrative, and profit from it. And 50% of your country is a bunch of redneck retards that praise the rich, and vote against their own best interests so they can "own the libtards". You didn't own any libtards. The corporations owned your ass instead. Congrats, and ENJOY! |

I'm not a lawmaker, proposing something here would be pointless. I would say that giving out more guns isn't the answer.

Re: Video From Patrick Crusius & The El Paso Walmart Shooting
Also....the law didn’t change anything. You could do everything you just described BEFORE the law went into action. So as you just proved...felons and others who don’t care about the law will get their hands on guns regardless....so are more gun laws really going to change anything? Unless, of course, you want more “common sense” gun laws that the celebrities are coming out and lobbying for because yes, those will solve all the problems. Also....there is no gun registration in the US so I’m not sure why you emphasized “registration” in your little satirical rant. I’m guessing you’re ignorant on the issue and just proved it. |

Re: Video From Patrick Crusius & The El Paso Walmart Shooting
You're no fun Anyway, you know what would be ridiculous? If we were to change our laws based on actions of a dozen or so attention whores. I mean, It's not harden felons that are ones shooting up schools and Walmarts, it's these damn columbine wannabees. You see, we shouldn't take away their guns (or my guns), we should take away the one thing that they lust for the most: attention. I mean, I have Patrick Crusius' face ingrained in my head - why do I even know his full name? It's that fuckin' media, man. Posting his face all over my news feed. Quoting his damn "manifesto" in their headers. This motherfucker is trending on Twitter and Facebook! If you ask me, he didn't really care about killing Mexicans - how many Mexicans did he really kill out of those 22 people, anyway? - he wanted the attention. So I propose we take that way. When a shooting happens, let's not show the perpetrators face, mention his name and, for damn sure, not quote from his "manifesto". Instead, let's focus on the victims. Let's tell their story. I mean, it couldn't hurt to try before we start changing laws that predated this current fad, right? |
