EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14) — Below are the names of the victims KFOX1 is learning who died.

Jordan Jamrowski Anchondo 24, was among those killed in El Paso, Jordan's sister said she apparently died while protecting her 2-month-old son from the hail of bullets.

Leta Jamrowski of El Paso spoke to The Associated Press as she paced a waiting room at the University Medical Center of El Paso, where her 2-month-old nephew was being treated for broken bones — the result of his mother's fall.

"From the baby's injuries, they said that more than likely my sister was trying to shield him," she said. "So when she got shot she was holding him and she fell on him, so that's why he broke some of his bones. So he pretty much lived because she gave her life."

Jordan, a mother of three, and Andre Anchondo, 23, had dropped off her 5-year old daughter at cheerleading practice before going to shop for school supplies on Saturday at a Walmart in El Paso. They never returned.

Andre Anchondo, husband of Jordan Anchondo also died, according to a family member.

The friend, Koteiba "Koti" Azzam, made calls on Sunday to learn the whereabouts of his friend, who remained unaccounted for. Bodies of victims were still in the Walmart on Sunday.

"I love the guy," Azzam said in a phone interview from San Marcos, Texas, where he attends Texas State University. "He had the character and the charisma."

Azzam said Anchondo had started a business in El Paso, building things from granite and stone, and made it successful through hard work. He also was on the verge of completing a home for his family.

Arturo Benavides, 60, was among the dead. Benavides was an Army veteran and a well-known Sun Metro bus driver.

A Horizon High School student identified as Javier Amir Rodriguez, 15, also died, according to a family member Cesar Serrano. He was 15-years-old.

The Texas American Federation of Teachers (Texas AFT) said on Facebook that Leo Cimpeda Campos, 41, died during the El Paso shooting alongside his wife Maribel Hernandez, 56. Both went to Walmart, according to Hernandez's brother. He said they dropped off their dog at a groomer and then went shopping. Hernandez's brother said they knew something was wrong when the groomer called and said Campos and Hernandez had not picked up their dog. One of their family members was able to track the GPS of their vehicle to the Walmart parking lot. Hernandez's brother said police notified them on Sunday that both had died.

David Johnson, 63, was also killed, according to his niece. He was a father, husband, uncle and grandpa. His niece said he protected his wife and 9-year-old granddaughter.

Angie Sliva-Englisbee, 86, was killed in the massacre, according to family members. They tell CNN the last time they heard from her was in the check out line at the Walmart.

Luis Alfonzo Juarez, 90, was married for almost 70 years to his wife. His wife was also shot in the shooting but she survived.

MEXICAN GOVERNMENT IDENTIFIES FIVE CITIZENS KILLED IN EL PASO

Mexico's Foreign Ministry identified five citizens who were killed in the shooting Saturday in a shopping complex in El Paso. The ministry did not provide ages for them.

-Sara Esther Regalado Moriel, 66, of Cuidad Juarez.
-Adolfo Cerros Hernández, 68, of Aguascalientes.

-Jorge Calvillo García, 61, of Torreón died at Walmart from the El Paso shooting. Luis Calvillo was injured and is in critical condition at UMC, according to Jorge's nephew, Raul Ortega.

Jorge Calvillo went to visit his son, Luis, and granddaughter, Emily. They were raising money for Emily’s soccer team outside the Walmart. When the shooter opened fire, Jorge Calvillo shielded the young girls, according to Ortega. Luis Calvillo, a coach for the soccer team, was also shot.

On my way to work this morning I heard on the radio about the violence in Chicago. I believe they said there were 70 shootings over the weekend. With nearly 50 people being shot.

Over 1500 shootings with injuries so far this year with 300 murders. I think they said 17 people were shot within a 2 hour period.

These are mostly African American shooters and victims. Notice how the media for the most part ignore this. There's no outrage over guns, nobody saying how violent black people are. Nobody demanding Trump do something about it.

There have been many instances of a black gunman firing into crowds at night clubs and bars, like in Ohio. But the media spend 2 minutes talking about it, and its forgotten the next day.

Why is that I wonder?

Nah, I just pulled the FBI data, which keeps track of all the murders and the race of the murderers. And then you can look at voting registration, and polling data, which also includes race. Which kinda makes the conclusion obvious.

That most murders are not committed by Republicans. And 60+% of murders in America are committed by races other than white people.

Minority races commit more murders, minority races in America are predominantly voting Democrat.
