Re: Vic Morrow's Death on The Set Of The Twilight Zone
The pilot was not to blame for this accident. He put his trust in so called professionals who let him down badly. He stated the helicopter and the explosions could not occupy the same space but it seems what he said was ignored, maybe and I say maybe because the guy in charge of the pyrotechnics was stoned?

Re: Vic Morrow's Death on The Set Of The Twilight Zone
Exactly. Helicopters are extremely sensitive to all sorts of things when hovering that low. Such a drastic change in temperature would wreak havoc with the ground effect forces, which are already substantially weaker when hovering over water, tall grass, buildings, or anything other than smooth, paved ground. It would literally suck the cushion of air out from under one side of the helicopter, and put a MASSIVE burst of lift under the other side, which is probably a big part of why it spun around like that. That combined with the fact that from what I understand, the heat from the explosion itself caused delamination on one rotor blade, and straight up ripped part of another one off with a piece of debris. That helicopter would have been literally impossible to control from that point. They could only hang on and hope for the best. Helicopter crew wasn't to blame at all. They flew where directed, and trusted the film crew to make sure the pyro shit was kept at the distance they told them it needed to be from the helicopter. Sadly, the film crew was either completely fucking stupid, or took a gamble on purpose. |

Thanks for trying but you should know that taking a video from Youtube which was uploaded four years ago is unlikely to provide something new to the people on this site. Keep trying, but try harder. |

Speak for yourself because I am seeing it for the first time and I have been on this site for four years. Thanks for trying Gizzard and thanks for succeeding Fnal. I am really tired of seeing the repost comments, just because you have seen something doesn't mean that every one else has, geeeezzzzeee. |

A website is like a plot of land you get with the house you buy, you only have so much of it. Reposts really don't serve any purpose other than take up space that could be allotted to newer shit as well as eat up precious bandwidth. Go trudge through the video section, I'm sure there are 100s of videos you haven't seen yet.
