Re: Two Killed In Shooting At Wisconsin's Oneida Casino
I guess that's as opposed to the mass shooting every single week, that happened BEFORE he was elected, of course.

Re: Two Killed In Shooting At Wisconsin's Oneida Casino
It's easy to say this when it comes to gun violence. Even as an American, I can understand that completely. However, at least for a 6 year period from 2009-2015 we weren't the worst of the world, and we certainly weren't alone. I'm sure it has changed, perhaps significantly since 2015... but I know we still aren't the worse. Brazil takes the "trophy" for that. Source: https://worldpopulationreview.com/co...ngs-by-country The Crime Prevention Research Center looked at the death rates that resulted from mass shootings between the years 2009 and 2015. Here are the average death rates, in millions, per country, between 2009 and 2015. The countries are already listed in order of the highest death rates to the lowest median death rates. Norway 1.888 Serbia 0.381 France 0.347 Macedonia 0.337 Albania 0.206 Slovakia 0.185 Switzerland 0.142 Finland 0.132 Belgium 0.128 The Czech Republic 0.123 The United States of America 0.089 Austria 0.068 The Netherlands 0.051 Canada 0.032 England 0.027 Germany 0.023 Russia 0.012 Italy 0.009 So far in 2021, we are 7th on the list of most gun violence deaths. My god, does that make it any better? More police died while Trump was in office yet The Right says Obama went to war against the police. How is that possible even? More police died under the last guy and the worst mass shooting on us soil happened under him too. Does that excuse him?

If you live in the states, if (when) you get mowed down by some law abiding citizen when they get their gun completely legally, protected by the second amendment, all that will be left are the comments on this site with dancing bananas by your name LOL

Re: Two Killed In Shooting At Wisconsin's Oneida Casino
You know the large majority of gun deaths in the US are suicides, right? 60%. If you take the 40% left, I would expect a large majority of those to be repeat-criminal related and then a handful is previously law abiding citizens. BTW, the US is 20th in gun fatality rate in the world with 46% of the privately owned guns worldwide. I'd say we are doing just fine. Ever notice the mass shootings have a specific limit of deaths to be considered "mass". That number is more than 4, so this one won't even be in the stats. Do you know why? Because damn near every day in large inner-cities there are criminals killing 1-2-3 or even 4 people in single events and it wouldn't play into the narrative that it's always "pissed off white guys" if they dropped the stat to include events like this one (3 deaths, including the perp) "when you get mowed down", jeezus, sounds like something right out the establishment media narrative which is full of a bunch of pussies that would know which end of the "fully semi-automatic" gun to hold on to. |
