the problem isn't the stand your ground law itself. it's the fact that it is not properly enforced. case in point, melissa alexander. she fired a warning shot at the ceiling to defend herself against an abusive male, and she was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

stand your ground only applies to non-black MALES. kill a little black kid? go home and be a family man. fight back against an abusive husband? we'll show you.
