Guilt or innocence is not the issue. Everyone agrees zimmy killed martin. Was it justified? So far, based on trial evidence ( and not talk radio statements) it doesn't appear to be justified. I agree with you on what likely happened. Zimmerman approached Travon, Travon defended himself and, got the upper hand in the fight until Zimmerman shot him. Was Zimmerman defending himself? Yeah, but not until after Travon defended himself.

I do not think there was enough to convict on murder charges, but voluntary manslaughter seems well fitting. According to a juror, a key point in the verdict of not guilty had to do with the screams on the 9-1-1 tapes. IMO, because voice matching was not possible, the screams should not have come into the verdict as a factor.

Further, a six woman jury is not a fair sample of community peers. Why not three men with three women to make it even? Men and women do think differently. It is supposed to be like that. It is naturally normal. Women think security. Men think territory.

You aren't supposed to base your verdict off natural instincts of security and territory, you are supposed to observe, contemplate, argue, and discuss the provided evidence of the case and then make a rational and logical decision based on that evidence.
