Please don't be misinformed... The setups on his guns are 100% legal. Go here for more information on what is considered legal or illegal... http://www.slidefire.com/ssar15-sbs |

All this. All these people dead and dying. Injured for life. And you people don't want anything to do with some damn gun reform or anything that could possibly help deter the next major mass shooting incident committed by a fucking white man. |

Re: Pictures & Videos From The Mass Shooting at Las Vegas Concert
Look at the murder rates in the UK and Australia and tell me gun control (or removal) doesn't work. Sure, it'll take time, because there's hundreds of millions of guns in the US, but it'd be worth it. Why? Well, let's see. You can't go to church, a concert, a club, work, the hospital, etc. In the US without really having to know what to do in the case of a mass shooting. That is our reality. People on the right throw out fake stats like 3 million lives saved by guns! Okay. If that were the case then we'd be hearing about all the conceal and carry heroes every single day that are stopping crime. It rarely happens, and in a risk/benefit line of reasoning, is any of that worth this? That this many people are dying? That mass shootings occur almost daily (3 or more people being shot) in the United States? So someone who lives in the exurbs can feel safe from non-existent crime in their development? I don't need to know how to break down a gun to know what they've done to our society. There are examples, right now, of places that got rid of most of their guns after mass shootings (Again the UK and Australia) and have had really no mass shootings since. Sure, knives exist, people can make bombs, but that's like saying "I'm not going to stop mainlining heroin because cancer exists!". It's not actual logic, it's pushing the conversation somewhere else. You can't eradicate all crime. Criminals don't follow the law. But you can stop giving them an endless supply of weaponry that the founding fathers never could've imagined would exist. People bring up Chicago while ignoring Australia. Chicago is SURROUNDED by suburbs where you can purchase guns so of course guns are going to filter in. That's like cutting out 1% of a tumor and then saying "see? Surgery doesn't work!". The right has to hang on to false lines of reasoning because they know this is a disaster. It's gotten SO BAD and as the technology makes it so one crazy person can kill or maim hundreds, you have to have a common sense conversation that isn't relying on flawed logic or the fact that Amendments are called... Amendments and are meant to be re-examined and AMENDED. It's happened multiple times, as society changed, or in this case tech, where people have said, let's re-examine this because of unforeseen consequences (like prohibition leading to organized crime). But, nope. Too many "tough guys" who are somehow calling liberals pussies despite the fact that they think they need a gun to go to the gas station. Well, I guess they do now, because of a problem they created by being so pro-gun. This entire situation is the rights fault and they deflect blame and think the solution is more of their own "policies". At some point you'd think people would realize that but the mixture of pride and stupidity is being so masterfully exploited by the elite on the right (and their propaganda machines) that I have zero faith. The US is an embarrassment because we're being held hostage by a fervent group of working class, white men (and their wives) who create, perpetuate and expand every single problem they're angry about. I used to get upset about it, but I'm adaptable so I'll be okay, as will my family, but it does still bother me that as things continue to deteriorate the right somehow keeps blaming the left for these issues. "gun free zone"... Yeah, of course those don't work, again, the Chicago thing. The entire country needs to be gun free. It's time. It'll take years to get through all the guns out there but the benefits so outweigh the risks that at some point it needs to happen. But it won't. At least until the electoral college is abolished at the South loses it's stranglehold on the rest of the country. |

The point of the 2nd Amendment was so our civilians could protect themselves against a tyrannical government. It was also put into place when civilaians could be as well armed as the government. I don't know about you guys, but I don't have F35 or ICBM's in my garage. I truly believe in our 2nd Amendment rights, there just needs to be better mental health reporting and vetting. I have no problem waiting 7 or 14 days for an AR-15 if means I can protect my country from tyrants or criminals.
