Pictures & Videos From The Mass Shooting at Las Vegas Concert
On October 1, 2017, the city of Las Vegas experienced one of the deadliest mass shootings in United States history. The event occurred during the Route 91 Harvest music festival, held on the Las Vegas Strip. Stephen Paddock, a 64-year-old gunman, carried out the attack from his 32nd-floor suite in the Mandalay Bay hotel, targeting the crowd at the festival. Paddock opened fire on approximately 22,000 concertgoers, unleashing a barrage of more than 1,000 rounds. The attack resulted in the deaths of 60 people, with at least 413 others wounded by gunfire. The ensuing panic and chaos brought the total number of injured to approximately 867. The FBI, in their investigation, released detailed reports on the shooter, although much of the content was redacted. Police have said in their latest update the shooter was a resident of Las Vegas. Curious to know what weapon was being fired, sounded like an LMG. |
