I really think that, as far as the gun debate goes, this mostly brings into question the kind and amount of weaponry one can acquire. For those who fall on the side of being against reforms, what are your thoughts?

I wish he had shot those fucks that stood up with their arms wide instead of the people trying to hide.

Re: Pictures & Videos From The Mass Shooting at Las Vegas Concert
When was the last time you had your bags searched when checking into a hotel? As a photographer, I'm often taking as many as 10 locked Storm Cases into my hotel suite without even a 2nd look. Hell, I've taken them into NYC's Citi Field for a Mets/Yankees game, into the Barclays Center for a Rangers/Islanders game and many other venues throughout the country with absolutely zero concern from security. Chances are he didn't even haul the guns up to his room, I wouldn't be at all surprised if a bell hop did it for him as they have done for my bags numerous times at that very hotel. |

Re: Pictures & Videos From The Mass Shooting at Las Vegas Concert
"no guns allowed"...because people don't want to get shot by idiots taking the law into their own hands. Are you suggesting that teachers be armed, or the clergy? or a cinema usher?...should they start blasting away in the darkness, just because an assailant does? Seriously - it can't work and it's proven NOT to work...even in locations where people DO have guns! No one is charging in to save the day like John McClane in Die Hard. That is fantasy! This latest incident, 32 floors up is a prime example! ...and why should those people who don't want guns in their "gun-free-zones" have to suffer just because 22% of people want pop-pops? But hey, you keep killing yourselves. Keep telling yourselves that more guns is better and that god's magic will sort it...But whatever you do, just keep it in the US - it's one potential import we do not want here. |

A good start might be those bump-stock modification loopholes that seem to have been ignored. I bet that is the one thing they will sort out...in this particular case it seems to be the "automatic" emulation that has scaled the casualty count up to break the record.

"Tough gun laws" in Europe are no related to the rise of Terror Attacks, your "American" narrative is not reality there. Stephen Paddock was not a terrorist. If he had a small gun, or a knife, more of 90% of the people he killed would be still alive to this day. |
