This is why I carry an ifak on me.. big trauma kit in my vehicle to help in a MCI like this. This is just another reminder why I keep my skills and knowledge in BLS up to date and am prepared to some extent for the worst.. I see a l9t of people trying to help and the key word is trying. If you don't have the knowledge, skills, or resources to help gtfo so it'll help narrow down casualties for triage. Sad video and a sad event.. RIP victims

This argument never makes any sense to me, by your logic the 1st amendment is null and void due to the internet. Plus, this is why it was written the way it was written, to be timeless. No, they could not have imagined the sheer devastating weaponry we now have. Please show evidence that backs this up....this foresight surely must be documented somewhere. They didn't know, they couldn't know...which is why they set the document out so that it could be amended - they knew that they did not know everything! (and we already agreed on that).

Now it's hard to amend it...and so it should be (we agree) no matter what people's agenda are (and maybe because of agendas), but it is possible.

you know it isn't this simple and clear cut and that each situation is different. You have an almost baffling habit of oversimplifying things which are rarely simple.

I know it's not simple - I've explained that already - the politicians are bought and paid for, and the minority (between 3& and 22%) cherish their toys. Changes take time, but change is the one inevitable in life and in the law.

As for Police procedure - Yeah if someone is behaving suspiciously then of course all bets are off...but you have to wonder that you are actually reinterpreting the constitution every day that you ask to see a gun licence and every day you demand someone puts their weapon away. It's you who attempts to remind us that the right to bear arms is per-person and non-negotiable, not me.

I think you should all put your toys back in the box myself. It'll do the "common people" no end of good in the long run.

People who don't know what their doing, but want to help, in a situation like this, are MORE than welcome to hang by me. Whether I'm doing an assessment, bandaging, or starting IVs and pushing fluids, there're ALWAYS things that I can direct someone with ZERO knowledge or skills to do for me. I have had kids help me on some scenes, because they were the only other people around, and I only have two hands. In a triage situation, I will never turn down help just because they don't know what they're doing. I've worked in emergency medical services for 12 years.

Lorries aren't designed to kill. They are designed to carry cargo from point A to B.

For the most part lorries are used for this purpose. Very rarely does someone deliberately use a vehicle to kill people...but there are road accidents all the time and vehicles are dangerous in the wrong hands.

However, people have to meet strict conditions in order to drive a road vehicle, and even stricter conditions for an HGV (lorry) license...

It takes months of personal scrutiny (by those instructing and the examiner), so much harder than it is to purchase a gun in the US.

A mischievous individual in the UK couldn't guarantee the sort of mass carnage via lorry that a gun can cause.
