I'm not from the US, but I do remember reading about this case. Poor girl. If I remember correctly, she was a coal burner. Never date Blacks, Pakis and Middle Eastern untermensch. Blacks love fire, Muslims love acids and chemicals..

There's a sad lesson to be learned here.

The first boy volunteer firefighter said at the very beginning of the trial..he said she said..what is your name..she said Jessica Tambers..if you cant close your mouth its hard to pronounce the Cha..but easier to say Tam..you can try this yourself..so Eric to me is Derek..its sad that the jurors couldn't her about the other girl that was murdered and this guy was using her credit cards..come on..

I agree with you. I am just finding out about this case, actually watching the documentary on YouTube right now. I don't know how in the HELL they figure this poor girl would've been able to string a LETTER together. Much less a word. And i was thinking this BEFORE i even found out that she had fire accelarant poured down her throat.
This reminds me a LOT of the Channon Christian (and Christopher Newsome) case that happened in Tennessee in early 2007.

Funny how you hateful sons of bitches act like Chris Watts and Scott Peterson don’t exist.
I can probably name 20 cases off the bat, where domestic violence ends in murder AND the perpetrator was a white man.

You're right.

But the Jessica Chambers and Channon Christian murders have next to nothing in common, except that both were committed by black male(s).

Channon and Chris didn't know their killers, they were victims of opportunity---who happened to be at the wrong place and the wrong time. Channon suffered much longer than her boyfriend did, or poor Ms Chambers for that matter.

Chambers' death was horrific too; but the difference is she actually knew her killer, if it's true that Mr Tellis did it. I live down south and in some of those rural areas away from the Interstates, the police departments have no qualms in deliberately pointing their fingers at the wrong people. Cover-ups do happen in some of those smaller, rural counties; So it's not impossible that Quinton Tellis was just a patsy. But he has a criminal record and was one of the last to see Jessica alive; so it probably was him.

Another thing, yeah, I think Quinton is the guy because he so happened to walk into another bloody crime scene in Louisiana a year after Chambers' death. Coincidences like that just don't happen---walking into two separate bloody crime scenes.

That's how Joran Van Der Sloot was caught. People weren't convinced that he had anything to do with Natalee Holloway's death (islanders said he was an amiable person), until' he was discovered in the same apartment as yet another murder victim. That was the turning point.

In Quinton's case, his lengthy criminal record already implicated him somewhat but not nearly enough. Jessica Chambers and the other young woman (a foreign exchange student, forgot her name) were from totally different walks of life, didn't know each other. Their only common link was Mr Tellis. So, yeah, I think Tellis did it.

My point still stands though; these were different circumstances. There is no comparison between Chambers' murder and what happened in Knoxville, except for the race of the perpetrators.
