So. Children from abusive households have a higher propensity for violence; are you going to shun everyone who's had the misfortunate of being born to hot-tempered, violent drunkards? I doubt you would, and neither would I.

Blacks face more adversity in general, as the poverty rate among AA's are consistently higher and not all of it can be traced to a lack of work ethic. A lot of it is inherited--if they were born in a hole, they very well may die in the same hole. The effects of segregation still linger in many cities, even though Jim Crow himself is a mere skeleton by now.

I live in the South and the racism hasn't tapered off around here, it's just gotten more subtle; the HOA's, for example, are pains in the asses of most people but they are especially harsh on AA's, Latinos and younger white buyers. It's called institutional racism. I hear this is the case in some parts of the Midwest and even New England. Hell, Buffalo NY was rated among the most racist cities and much of the industrial Midwest (cities like Flint, Toledo, Cincy, etc) aren't much better off.

And then, there's Nixon and his phony War On Drugs; which, at the time, translated to a war on dissidents and somehow morphed into a convenient way to target people of color and young working-class whites, because they were the buyers, not old straight white men.

I do not feel "white guilt"; I am not your garden-variety armchair SJW who shouts at the sky and cries "injustice" 'til the cows come home, but at the same time, I can see that too many Americans have brought into right-wing diversionary propaganda message of "Don't blame the rich corporate elites who are REALLY fucking you over. Blame everybody else, especially AA's, Muslims and the working poor".

Blacks and other so-called minorities today have more opportunities and support than White kids do. They are to blame for their own poverty when they were pushed to the front of the queue and still failed.

Their propensity towards violent crime is partly to do with their low IQ and partly to do with Whites with a saviour complex constantly making excuses for them.
