I know there was a raging fire in 7 but I have to say Bill that I've always believed that 1 knocked out some columns in 7 from the top down on the east side and from the front south side of the building. People don't realize that 6 was not a tall building. So they can't understand how 1 spilled on to 7. And I'll say it again - show only the video from the north side of 7 as it's collapsing and only that video, and of course you're going to think it's a demo. That's what happens - no one ever showed that video with the context of first, 1 falling down on to it and next to it, then a period of time - 6 hours - of instability and fire, and finally the building actually giving away.

Well, considering the fact that they were 9 stories at most, that gives you a clue right there. All of the buildings that collapsed that day were HIGHRISES. The other WTC complex buildings were not near as tall as the others. Even the Marriot Hotel which was 22 stories tall was collapsing from damage done from the South Tower collapse.

It did not have a chance to collapse completely from gravity alone, because the North Tower came down a crushed it even more. WTC # 7 however, burnt unchecked from the time that the North Tower came down until around 5:27 pm. That is a long time to burn unchecked for any building, let alone one that is 47 stories tall, and has SEVERE structural damage.

Why wasn't Giuliani in 7? That question makes no sense to me? I had a friend who worked in tower 2. He was in a conference room at a morning meeting. He heard 1 get hit, saw the damage, heard the everything is okay intercom building messages ... and then got the fuck out of there. What do you mean, why didn't Giuliani stay in 7 .... For the same reason everyone else who could get the fuck out of the complex area went and did it.

True. Some of the strangest things survived the planes' impacts, and resulting collapses. Shoes, credit cards, even children's toys. I remember seeing a stuffed teddy bear laying in the street. People said it was most likely from a daycare they had on the 3rd or 4th floor in the North Tower I think.

It did do some serious damage to WTC # 7. One thing people have trouble with is the distance that # 7 was from the North Tower. I don't see why they have trouble with it. I know everyone has the seen the Winter Gardens at the World Financial Center, at least on tv.

It was over 500 feet away I think, give or take a little. It suffered heavy damage as well, and WTC # 7 was closer than it was, around 350 feet, give or take a little. We know the Marriot Hotel was 330 feet long, knowing that, we can get a general idea of the distance the North Tower was from WTC # 7. I just cut the Marriot Hotel out and changed the way it was oriented, I did not change size or anything. It kind of puts things into perspective a little bit.

I'm going to the new WTC memorial over the Memorial day weekend, even though I go to New York at least once a year, I will never forget the towers or the bastards that attacked us.

Been a lot of good stuff on TV recently about OBL, hope you guys got to check it out.

Nah, I'd rather toss them off a really tall building. Maybe the Borj Dubai, it's what ? 200 stories ? It would take them around 17 seconds to hit instead of the 9.2 the jumpers fell on 9/11.
